Washington, D.C. – President Donald Trump has issued a statement condemning the fatal shooting of two Israeli Embassy staff members near the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., expressing his condolences to the victims’ families.
In a post on Truth Social, President Trump described the incident as “horrible D.C. killings, based obviously on antisemitism,” and called for an immediate end to such acts. “Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA,” he stated. “Condolences to the families of the victims. So sad that such things as this can happen! God Bless You ALL.”
The president’s remarks come after two Israeli Embassy employees were shot and killed Wednesday night outside the Capital Jewish Museum. A suspect has been apprehended in connection with the incident.
